This month's findings
Car dealers was the least changed vertical in the Peak Digital UK PPC Index in June 2026, with head-term CPC at £1.73 against £1.74 in May and tail-term CPC at £3.13 against £3.18. Both sit below their year-ago levels, head by 7.6 per cent and tail by 8.1 per cent, while sitting modestly above their prior 12-month averages of £1.67 and £3.06, by 3.8 and 2.1 per cent respectively. Across the full 24 months head CPC has stayed inside a £1.50 to £1.92 band and tail inside £2.74 to £3.40, among the narrowest proportional ranges in the panel. The tail premium held at £1.40, with tail CPC running 1.81 times head, a ratio that has held between 1.66 and 1.93 over the window. The June sample covered 25 keywords.
