This month's findings

Accountants moved in opposite directions on the two series in June 2026: head-term CPC jumped 26.7 per cent to £15.87, a 24-month high, while tail-term CPC fell 18.0 per cent to £18.29 from May's peak of £22.31. Head CPC is 29.6 per cent above June 2025 and 33.2 per cent above its prior 12-month average of £11.91; tail is 11.4 and 7.5 per cent above the same comparators. The combined effect was a collapse in the tail premium from £9.78 in May, the widest of the window, to £2.42 in June, within £0.04 of the narrowest reading recorded across the 24 months. That is the largest single-month change in the head-to-tail relationship anywhere in the panel this month. The June sample held at 25 keywords, its normal level within the Peak Digital UK PPC Index, against 14 in January 2026.
